Thinking i might also make a trip to Borough market, this weekend.
An absolutely heavenly and heady experience, i spent alot of time complaining about food and produce in this country until i discovered it. It has changed me, i was born again. Concerningly though, the fact that people in London now have no legitimate excuse (that i am aware of) to continue eating the rubbish they do, but they do, despite the most venerable Aladdin's Cave of culinary treasures.........

I found this today on the ever fabulous JUST HUNGRY SITE......here is the link to it
http://justhungry.com/omnivores-hundred-just-hungry-version
I love this kind of thing, getting food ideas going and also being able to read other people' s responses :)
As noted on Just Hungry, and evidently anticipated by the original author of the list, the list has a slant and that would be an anglo-american one, if you should want any explaining -

The Omnivore’s Hundred
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten. (I can't get the list to de-bold, so I am just gonna put the ones i have eaten in italics)
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating. (I’ve marked ones I really love in red-Just Hungry, i couldn't cross them out due to formatting issues so have marked it blue-me)
4) Optional extra: Post a comment at Very Good Taste linking to your results.
